Industry trend: membrane nitrogen generator switch to PSA nitrogen generator

For oil field, maximizing the oil exploitation efficiency is very important, good oil exploitation ratio increases the production and increase the return of investment. In the past, some oil wells are only exploited once, with the technology development, more and more oil companies use nitrogen to collect more oil.

For the supplying of nitrogen, in the past, most oil companies are using membrane type nitrogen generator, because membrane nitrogen generator has advantage of smaller size, easy operation,etc. 600 Nm3/hr, 900 Nm3/hr and 1200 Nm3/hr membrane nitrogen generators are widely used in field.

After years development, nowadays more and more companies are using PSA nitrogen generator to replace the membrane type. Main reasons are the PSA type machine investment is much lower than the membrane type. Also the maintenance cost is much lower. For same specification, PSA nitrogen generator only cost half of the membrane type.
